Leaders–Led by JOHANNA MOSCA, PHD, 7-time winner of the Best-of-Sedona Award for Yoga Instructor 2019-2025. Johanna, a veteran Yoga teacher of 33 years’ experience, whose quest has been to learn and teach all that she can to foster peace of mind, healing of the body, and a deep spiritual connection to the Divine energy of the Universe.

She has earned over 1400 hours of Yoga and Meditation Certifications, plus completion of Shamanic Energy Medicine training with Alberto Villoldo’s Four Winds Academy, and advanced Certification diplomas in PSYCH-K Belief Shift Processes. Johanna is also author of several books, including Sedona Soul Stretch: 10 Ancient Yoga Principles to Heighten Consciousness and Performance. Occasionally assisted by colleague ROXANNE–An expert Yoga and Zumba Instructor and experienced ACE Personal Trainer, who has led classes for Silver Sneakers and all ages in the Sedona community. Her continuing fitness education has led to work with essential oils and Life Wave products for health and longevity. For over 15 years, our guests have appreciated Roxanne’s exhilarating vortex Yoga journeys, fun spirit, and loving energy.

Family Vortex Hike and Meditation~
“Our family’s first trip to Sedona and we were looking for a yoga hike in the energy vortex. With our group though (2 teenagers, 4 kids, and 6 adults) we had to alter our idea a bit and go with what Johanna suggested… and it was a perfect experience! Johanna brought a friend along who took the kids and teenagers on their own journey (they hiked a bit, local plants were described to them, yoga poses, and their spirit animal cards were read). Johanna took the adults in our group and we participated in a guided meditation and read our Shaman Oracle cards. We weren’t able to practice yoga due to the ground being wet and muddy from snowfall the night before. It was a wonderful family experience. We learned a lot about the area, the local energy vortexes, and having our cards read was an added bonus! We highly suggest this for a fun and different family outing.”

“Our time with Johanna was great—it truly encompassed our “Sedona experience”…the Creekside meditation was wonderful – the stream provided a beautiful setting to calm our minds. The yoga site with views of Cathedral Rock was gorgeous. Even when it started to rain, she did her best to accommodate us and really took her time with us – especially since we were a group of 10! Bachelorette Spirit Yoga Day with Johanna~
