About Sedona Spirit Yoga, Healing & Vortex Journeys
Sedona Spirit Yoga Vortex Journeys has received glowing endorsements from past guests who tell us that their Sedona yoga experience with us was “life-altering.” For our vortex journeys, it’s not just about hiking trails, as our hikes are gentle nature walks intended to slow you down so you can “smell the roses” and feel the energy. Our focus is not mastering Yoga Poses either, though we enjoy stretching in a variety of Yoga modalities with proper alignment.
Our commitment is to help you open up to access the vortex energy of the area and use it for your personal spiritual growth, healing and peace of mind. To learn more about Sedona’s vortex energy, visit Johanna’s “What is a Vortex?” Our focus is on nurturing and self-care. Johanna specializes in PSYCH-K® Belief Shift, Shamanic Medicine Chakra Clearing, and Yoga Nidra Meditation to help you transform any limiting beliefs in your subconscious mind or energy blocks in your body and emotional field. Johanna and her expert, longtime assistant hike leader, Roxanne Wessel, guide you to look into what you would like to release and bring forth and helps you center yourself in the present moment.

Popular Travel Concerns for Retreats
Flights? Please fly into Phoenix International Airport (PHX). While you could fly into Flagstaff, which is closer, there is a long delay waiting for two planes and extra cost, so it is not advisable.
Car Rental? Sedona is an easy 2-hour drive from the Phoenix Airport. It’s helpful to rent a car so you can enjoy driving about town at your own convenience, but not necessary. Airport Shuttle of Phoenix (480-710-3441) offers a 10% round trip discount if you book online (use promo code ONLINE) at airportshuttleofphoenix.com.
Meals? Most of our retreats are Activities Only to give guests the chance to enjoy their favorite style of dining.
Restaurants? For a list of recommended restaurants, please Google the area, “Sedona,” plus the word “Restaurants.” This is a link to restaurants near the Creative Life Center: http://www.sedonamonthly.com/restaurants/sr-179-south-of-the-y/.
Drinking? Our YogaLife Retreat is about expanding consciousness and inner clarity. To feel the vortex energy and the depth of Yoga and Meditation as a sacred experience, it is best to not consume any alcohol and drugs during your retreat. If you choose to enjoy a drink at the end of the program day, which usually ends around 6 pm (or 9 pm after full moon ceremonies), as adults, you have the option to choose to have refreshments after program hours or at the final celebration on the last evening. We hope you will join us for a deeply moving experience of inner peace.
