Workshop-Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy Partner Yoga

*Enjoy a group centering and deep relaxation
*Receive a relaxing 45-minute partner yoga therapy session
*Be guided to give a soothing 45-minute yoga therapy session
*Gentle bodywork that frees up the spine and tight areas

 

Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy helps you release emotional and physical tension and promotes deep relaxation through assisted Yoga poses, dialogue and breathing, in a safe, loving space. In this workshop, Johanna will guide partners in giving each other a relaxing and nurturing Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy session. First, the whole group will do a centering and learn about Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy. Then Johanna will guide A-Partners to give a 45-minute session to B-Partners, followed by a break, and then B-Partners will give a similar session to A-Partners. The workshop will end with group sharing and relaxation. Bring your own partner or find one at the workshop.

Johanna Maheshvari Mosca, Ph.D.
is a Certified Kripalu Yoga Instructor and Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist, with over twenty years’ teaching experience. Johanna has been leading retreats for over 17 years as founder of Sedona Spirit Yoga & Hiking. Her Yoga style is based on gentle Kripalu Yoga of self-acceptance and Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy and influenced by ten years’ study with Rama Jyoti Vernon and six weeks of study at Desicachars’ Krishnamacharya Yoga School, in India. Johanna is past President of the Arizona Yoga Association and author of YogaLife: 10 Steps to Freedom book, CD set, and cards as well as Cultivate Contentment

  CANCELLATION POLICY

Life happens and sometimes we need to change plans.

For all Sedona Spirit Yoga & Hiking events, our policy is--

  • Cancellation up to 30 days prior to Sedona Spirit Yoga & Hiking event start--payment is refunded minus $100 non-refundable registration fee per person.
  • Cancellation up to 15 days prior to Sedona Spirit event start date, ---50% of fee is refunded.
  • Cancellation less than 8 days before Sedona Spirit event start date, absolutely no refunds for any reason.
  • With proper notification of at least 15 days, guests can transfer payment to another Sedona Spirit Yoga & Hiking event if one is available within the same year.
  • Sedona Spirit Yoga & Hiking events may be cancelled with full refund 30 days before start date if we have insufficient registration.
  • We will work with you to achieve a satisfactory solution in the event you find you must cancel.
